Dragan Espenschied
Dragan Espenschied is Preservation Director at Rhizome, a digital art and culture non-profit founded in 1996 and headquartered in New York and on the web, stewarding ArtBase, a collection of more than 2200 works of digital art and net art. With a background in design, net activism, net art, and electronic music, Espenschied’s activities as a conservator are mostly focused on infrastructure and field-wide action concerning web archiving, emulation, and linked open data, rather than singular artworks.
Dragan Espenschied will speak as part of the How Museums bring Digital to Life Tour at the Filmmuseum on 1 June and will take part in the networking sessions on 31 May as an expert.
