Who is eligible?

Micro-enterprises, associations, and freelance journalists

Eligible costs:

Costs for external services, training and professional development, courses and consultations and internal payroll costs.

Maximum project duration:

1.5 years

Assessment:

An independent jury will assess your submission and provide a recommendation for your development proposal's funding. The competition is conducted on a competitive basis.

Documents for your submission to receive Media Start Funding under the Vienna Media Initiative:

A fully completed online grant application, an application confirmation, and additionally a de minimis declaration, the résumés of all project participants, and, for existing companies, the most recent annual financial statements or an income and expenditure statement.
