Media Cooperation Funding under the Vienna Media Initiative

Are you planning a major transformation project with the potential to make the media industry as a whole ready for the future and to strengthen the quality of journalistic work in the long term? With the new “Media Cooperation” grant program, we support your media company in implementing comprehensive collaborative transformation projects in Vienna. 

Stages of Funding

The funding is structured in two phases: in the first phase, starting in 2026, proposals will receive funding of up to 25,000 euros. In 2027, up to 500,000 euros per project will be available for the implementation of large-scale collaborative projects. Full details on how to apply will follow shortly.
