Our Creative Industry Market Entry Funding covers payroll costs, external services like training, consultations, marketing and distribution for your market entry, non-personnel and material costs, such as the acquisition of machines and devices, and the costs for software licenses. Costs for intellectual property rights, including for the enforcement of patent rights, the registration of your trademark, or the securing of rights to your design as well as travel expenses are eligible for funding. The Vienna Business Agency provides funding to support business projects and day-to-day operating costs. Make the cost calculation for your development proposal as detailed as possible.

The decision is made by a jury based on well-defined assessment criteria. Generally, it takes around two months to find out whether your development proposal will receive funding. 

You can be awarded a maximum of 50,000 euros per development proposal. The maximum funding amounts vary depending on the type of funding. Ask your funding expert about the funding details before you submit your application.

Your development proposal must be worth at least 5,000 euros to qualify for Creative Industry Market Entry Funding.

You can submit your funding application via our online portal – it's convenient and always available. To do so, you must register on our website and create a profile. In your profile, select "My submissions" and "New application". Funding accounts will also be settled via our online system.

You are required to submit a duly completed funding application along with an application confirmation certifying that the information you have provided is true and accurate. Our online system automatically generates this application confirmation as soon as you have finished completing the application form. You will also be required to provide a de minimis declaration, your latest financial statements, and/or an income statement.

You can apply for Creative Industry Market Entry Funding anytime. The submission deadline is the date on which the Vienna Business Agency begins to simultaneously process all the funding applications that you have duly completed and submitted by that time. If you do not manage to complete your application form by a certain deadline, your application will only be processed after the next deadline. Generally, there is a submission deadline once every three months.
