Eva Fischer

Eva Fischer is an independent curator, cultural manager and lecturer in the field of experimental media, immersive art and XR. In 2021, she initiated the media art festival CIVA – Contemporary Immersive Virtual Art and serves as its artistic director. In 2007, she initiated sound:frame, which became known as the Viennese Festival for Audiovisual Art and since 2016 has been a strong platform for immersive art and technology. Since 2011 she has been teaching at various colleges and universities as a lecturer in the field of experimental media. From 2016 to 2019 she directed the production of the Diagonale in Graz, 2018 to 2020 she was active as co-organizer of XR Vienna.

Eva Fischer will guide the CIVA tour and will take part in the networking sessions on 2 June 2022.
