Come and visit Biofabrique Vienna during Vienna Design Week!
This tour takes visitors to three projects at the former Nordwestbahnhof site, where major urban development transformations are currently being prepared.
Biofabrique Vienna, an initiative of the Vienna Business Agency dedicated to material innovation for the creative industries, offers insights into its interdisciplinary work and presents current research findings.
The projects “Shade Commons” by Konstantin Kim, Ekaterina Korchagina and Osvaldo Almendra, and “(W)hole in One” by Tracing Spaces—both awarded through the Vienna Business Agency’s Creatives for Vienna – Making Spaces competition—demonstrate how creative interventions can activate underused urban spaces.
