How are digital technologies shaping the future of cultural experiences and opening up new possibilities? On May 5 and June 6, 2024, Creative Days Vienna will once again bring together leading international creative professionals for an exciting program of talks, tours and networking formats.

5 June 10 am–1 pm
Artivive AR-Workshop
The participants will use the augmented reality platform Artivive to create immersive and interactive mediation levels for the Biofabrique Vienna (Climate Biennale Vienna) pilot project.
5 June 2– 3.30 pm
Marshmallow Laser Feast – Experience Design Masterclass
Led by artist and MLF creative director Barnaby Steel. Participants will get insights into their most recent work that focuses on nature and the environment. Join us to explore a world beyond our senses.
5 June 4–6 pm
Open Fields - Talk and Performance
Participants will explore the presence of architecture, nature and society beyond their historical boundaries and investigate sustainable scenarios and potentials for the future surrounding climate & AI. Panel with Claudia Larcher and Piero Visconti.
5 June 6.30 pm
Opening Creative Days 2024
Moderated by Adia Trischler. Lecture by Barnaby Steel from Marshmallow Laser Feast and a performance from Maja Osojnik and Black Page Orchestra. Followed by a get-together with DJ and drinks at the Biofabrique/ Klima Biennale Wien.

Networking Sessions
In 20-minute conversations, different expertise at the interface of culture & technology will be exchanged, experiences shared and ideas for possible collaborations spun.

Content Vienna - Games Publishing Workshop
"The Art of Pitching your Game Idea" with international expert Garnett Lee. Five Vienna-based developer teams will be selected for the workshop in collaboration with SUBOTRON.

Civa Festival Kick-off – Keynote, Talks, Screening
"Civa ~ XE - Extended Exhibition" Keynote by Klimentina Milenova. Talk by Paul Feigelfeld on "Intelligence". Concluding with the discursive screening "sticky nets and fictional pockets" by Djamila Grandits.
6 June 3 - 4.30 pm
Wien Modern: Insights into the work and philosophy of the festival.
On 6 June, Bernhard Günther, Artistic Director of Wien Modern , will provide exciting insights into the festival's work and way of thinking as part of the Creative Days Vienna and offer a first preview of the programme for this year's edition.
6 June 4 - 5.30 pm
Wiener Festwochen. HAUS DER REPUBLIK: A look behind the scenes
How can a climate-friendly and solidarity-based future succeed? A guided tour of the “Haus der Republik” (House of the Republic) together with a class from the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.
6 June 6 pm
Get-together Party at Volksgarten Pavillion
To wrap up the Creative Days Vienna 2024 we will meet at Volksgarten Pavillion where there will be plenty of opportunity for discussing, connecting and celebrating.
