Creative minds gather at Creative Days Vienna for two days of lectures, tours and networking to discuss the latest interplay of technology, culture and society.

 

Creative Days Vienna 2024 will open on 5 June at the festival area of the Vienna Climate Biennale at Nordwestbahnhof. The event will kick off with a talk by Barnaby Steel, artist and creative director of the experiential art collective Marsmallow Laser Feast (MLF), and a performative sound installation from Maja Osojnik with Black Page Orchestra in Kooperation with Wien Modern. Afterwards, we invite you to a get-together with an Oriental Techno DJ-Set from Seba Kayan and drinks, where you can exchange ideas with other creatives. Mederated by Adia Trischler.

Creative Director Marshmallow Laser Feast

Barnaby Steel is an artist and creative director of London-based experiential art collective Marshmallow Laser Feast. Barnaby’s art practice centres on the senses; enticing audiences into states of expanded perception, a space where the boundaries between bodies blur. His work is deeply rooted in scientific observation as a window that allows us to look through and beyond our own experience, to understand the complexities of things hidden from the naked eye. His work steps outside the human-centred worldview, exploring the threads that weave us into relationships with the more than-human world.
