Biofabrique Canteen x Vienna Design Week 2024

At this year's Vienna Design Week, visitors can experience for the first time how modular furniture and room elements can be created from Biofabrique Vienna materials. As part of the 100-day research project, new materials were developed using unused urban resources such as baking waste or excavated building site rubble. Studio dreiSt. have now used these to design the hospitality area for Vienna Design Week. We cordially invite you to eat, chat and linger in the Biofabrique Canteen!

Studio dreiSt. were able to convince the jury as winners of the Urban Food and Design Practice 2024.

Biofabrique Vienna is a pilot project of the Vienna Business Agency and Atelier LUMA, a programme of LUMA Arles, in partnership with the Institute of Architectural Design at TU Wien. Further partners are Bäckerei Ströck, Wienerberger AG und Wiener Linien.
