The Vienna Business Agency and their partners are working together on project JOBITY – ‘Future Jobs in Innovation & Technology’, a project which raises awareness about jobs in research, technology and innovation among young people choosing their education and career paths.
To this purpose, activities and relevant materials are being developed to support career guidance in schools by the Vienna Business Agency and the Board of Education for Vienna and their Czech partners: Vysočina Education, the Educational Institute for Moravia (VIM), and the South Bohemian Business Agency (JHK).
A module-based workshop programme allows students, teachers and trainers to dive into career guidance in areas of research, technology and innovation. The goal is to get students enthusiastic about careers in these fields. Inspirational discoveries from the project regions, impressive role models and their future professions, suitable teaching materials and target coaching all aim to pique the interest of students to take up careers in the innovation and technology fields.
