Are you a teacher trying to find cost-free opportunities for your class to try out the latest technologies? Is your class eager to conduct experiments and find out what science and research are all about? Secure a spot in a school workshop for yourself and your students. We offer workshops for all school types from grade 3 to 8.
On Saturdays, we invite families and children to our Immersive Area in the 15th district to dive into the world of research. The cost-free workshops are suitable for children aged 8 and over and their families.
Workshops for school classes – suitable for children aged 8 and older
Whether research, inventions or professions: Sign up for our school workshops. The workshops are tailored to each age group. Sign up your pupils in grades 3 and 4 for an "idea attack" and let them be inventors for a few hours. In the workshops for children in grades 7 and 8, participants get to explore a wide selection of professions in the fields of environmental protection and sustainability, medical technology and biotech, or digital technologies. You can choose between the workshops Green Tech, Future Health, and IT & Me.
As part of JOBITY – Future Jobs in Innovation & Technology co-financed in the programme EU INTERREG Österreich-Tschechien these workshops are free of charge.
Weekend workshops for families with children aged 8 and over
Learn about Viennese inventions, get creative yourself and work on ideas for tomorrow! All this is possible during the weekend programme for 8-14 year olds in our adventure space on the Schmelz in the 15th district. As part of this workshop, we will test a sentient prosthesis, build inventions for climate change and try out artificial intelligence for every day. Here, workshop participants can become futurologists themselves!
