Life Sciences in Vienna

Vienna is an internationally recognised life sciences location and is growing steadily. Around 600 companies, research institutions and other organisations are active in the sector. They employ 41,000 highly qualified staff and also educate 42,000 students. In total, the industry generates more than 13 billion euros annually.

Life science companies receive individual advising and support for all aspects of their projects. Our team is also happy to help in the search for possible collaborations with companies and research institutions.

With LISAvienna, the Vienna Business Agency and the Austrian Wirtschaftservice GmbH (AWS) offer an own platform to companies in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical technology, which advises companies on grounding, offers networking opportunities and acts as central knowledge support for the life science sector. Register for the LISAvienna e-newsletter to stay updated on life sciences news from Vienna.
