Bistra & Christina: Changing the world beings in Vienna

When Bistra Kumbaroska and Christina Forster moved to Vienna only one week apart, they had no idea about the kind of surprises the city would have in store for them—new adventures, new projects, and new love. 

The two met at Impact Hub Vienna, a lucky coincidence that turned into something greater: with a shared passion for social impact and justice, they embarked on the exciting journey of building a life together.

“Vienna opened a new world for me, and I fell in love not only with the city but also with the person whom I now call my wife,” says Bistra about moving to the Austrian capital. “Settling here, however, would not have been the same without the support we received from the Vienna Business Agency. It was their team that made me feel welcomed and heard.”

Always looking for ways to make an impact, Bistra and Christina started their own social impact agency in 2019, and are currently working on other exciting initiatives. Living in Vienna is something that continues to inspire them in their pursuit to better themselves and the world. “Vienna will give you a chance to become who you really are. It’s a long, hard journey—but being here makes it feel a bit more magical.”
