Workshop MY BODY IS A TEMPLE
Talk and Workshop with Carmen Lael Hines
Creative minds gather at Creative Days Vienna for two days of lectures, tours, performances, installations and networking to discuss the latest interplay of technology, culture and society.
Carmen Lael Hines, co-curator of the exhibition MY BODY IS A TEMPLE together with Never At Home, will lead a workshop exploring the themes of sex tech and the liquidities of digital capital, based on her chapter for the forthcoming book she co-edited with Lisa Moravec for Bloomsbury's Posthumanism and Practice series. Drawing on current and forthcoming research on the role of AI image generation in erotica and virtual companionship, we will talk about different feminist and posthumanist approaches about human-machine sexualities in the information age.
You can read more about the exhibition MY BODY IS A TEMPLE, and about the pre-opening event here.
