Tour 3: Creatives for Vienna – Making Spaces X Klima Biennale Wien
Tour of two award-winning projects that rethink infrastructure in urban spaces.
The winning projects of the competition Creatives for Vienna – Making Spaces by the Vienna Business Agency are presented at various locations across Vienna during the Klima Biennale Wien. They demonstrate how Vienna’s creative industries enhance local public spaces, strengthen neighbourhoods, and help the city adapt to social and climatic challenges.
This tour introduces two projects that reinterpret existing infrastructures and open them up for different user groups.
We will walk the route from “Bruno” to “Via Tanke.”

Bruno – studio d*luxe
“Bruno” by studio d*luxe transforms Bruno‑Pittermann‑Platz into a vibrant movement parcours for children and families. Colorful ground markings and new parcours areas enliven the square and create playful opportunities for all generations. Please bring your own bicycle if you would like to try it out.

Via Tanke – ViaTankeKollektiv
“Via Tanke” by the Via‑Tanke‑Kollektiv reimagines the story of the “Johanna Garage”: the gas station becomes a meeting point and cultural space. As a ping‑pong venue, cinema, or travel agency, it becomes an experimental field for the future of fossil infrastructure. On this day, the workshop “Tanke verspielt” will take place. After the tour, a tango class will be offered at the gas station, open to tour participants as well.
