RAILCONNECT: Call for Innovation

Are you developing a solution, technology or service with potential for the rail industry?
As part of the RAILCONNECT: Innovation & Entry event on 20 October 2026, selected companies and start-ups are invited to present their ideas in a compact 5-minute pitch.
Afterwards, a high-calibre rail committee – consisting of representatives from OEMs, Tier 1 companies and infrastructure operators – will provide a technical assessment and evaluation of market and system suitability.
We are looking for innovative approaches with recognisable application or transfer potential for the railway industry. Solutions that are already being used successfully in other industries and now want to open up new fields of application in the railway environment are of particular interest.
Please send a short description of your innovation by 15 June 2026.

Possible topics could include, for example:
- Digitalisation and data-based applications
- Artificial intelligence and automation
- Sustainable technologies and energy efficiency
- Materials, production and maintenance
- Safety, security and resilience
- Increasing efficiency along the industrial value chain
