International Digital Security Forum Vienna 2025 (IDSF)
PROMOTING GLOBAL DIALOGUE ON DIGITAL SECURITY
For the fourth time, Vienna will become the center for global discourse on digital security, technological sovereignty, and international cyber resilience. Under the motto “Balancing Sovereignty and Solidarity in the Digital Age,” the #IDSF25 will bring together international experts from diplomacy, politics, business, and academia and provide a framework for high-profile keynotes and discussions on the challenges of digital transformation.
A highlight will be the workshop “Digital Sovereignty in a Connected World: Navigating Between Openness and Control” on June 4, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., which will be held in cooperation with the Vienna Business Agency and SBA Research.
Experts will discuss how the European Union and its institutions are redefining their approach to digital infrastructure, data governance, and strategic autonomy in light of current geopolitical tensions, cyber threats, and growing dependence on a few dominant technology providers.
