The Austrian Fashion Association and the Vienna Business Agency invite fashion and accessories designers to participate in the HOW TO FASHION workshop INTO KNITWEAR with Carolin Lerch (Studio pelican avenue).

 

The workshop is aimed at independent fashion designers and labels with a focus on and interest in knitwear and includes, among other things:

  • In-depth insights into the complex world of professional knitwear development
  • Introduction to methodological approaches and working methods in the industry
  • Process analysis from conception to finalisation
  • Practical segment with collective evaluation of designs or textile artefacts brought along

Founder Studio pelican avenue

Carolin Lerch is the founder of Studio pelican avenue, a design studio specialising in knitwear design for fashion labels. With in-depth technical expertise and many years of experience as a fashion designer for her own label pelican avenue, as well as through numerous collaborations with international brands such as Peter Pilotto, Marine Serre, Christian Wijnants, Petar Petrov and others, her studio is responsible for successful press pieces, commercial bestsellers and the development of knitwear mood boards and collection framework plans.
