The only way is forward: the renowned creative conference Forward Festival is entering the next round in 2024 with an expanded focus on artificial intelligence and an impressive line-up of over 125 international speakers from various creative disciplines. Leading minds such as Stefan Sagmeister, Max Siedentopf and Nicole McLaughlin will be at the Forward Festival Berlin from 29 to 30 August.

 

With the format „Spotlight Your Idea!“, Forward Creatives and the Vienna Business Agency enable two creative entrepreneurs to present their creative idea on the main stage of the Forward Festival in Berlin and Vienna. This year, S()fia Braga, Content Vienna winner 2023 impressed the jury with her AI-generated film "THIRD IMPACT" and Georgios Tsampounaris with his AVXR Studio "70% Water".

Transmedia artist and film director, Vienna

In her artistic work, Braga critically examines the interplay between new technologies and human agency. She is also currently a lecturer and co-curator for the "Human Rights in the Digital Age" cluster at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. At the Forward Festival, she will be presenting her latest film project "THIRD IMPACT", which explores innovative techniques for the use of artificial intelligence in film production, among other things.

Georgios Tsampounaris
Developer and new media artist, Vienna

Tsampounaris works at the interface of technology and art, and his immersive audiovisual projects have taken him to the Ars Electronica Festival in Linz several times. At the Forward Festival, he will be presenting the start-up "70% Water", which uses technologies such as 3D capturing to record natural and cultural heritage and make it available as digital creative content in a public archive.
