Fashion Futures: Textile Workshop
Take part and exchange ideas with international experts!
How can the regional fashion and textile industry shape itself for the future, for example by developing circular value creation models? What role do agile production and shared supply chains play? And how can new, adapted or rediscovered materials and techniques be integrated into the system?
In the workshop, experts from material innovation, research and industry will provide impulses for the fashion and textile industry.
The speakers will be: Tessa Moroder from the Italian textile design lab Lottozero, Miriam Kathrein from the Austrian Fashion Association and Karin Fleck from the Vienna Textile Lab.
This is followed by a joint discussion and an outline of a possible mapping of resources, knowledge and production sites.
The expert workshop organised by the Vienna Business Agency and EIT Culture & Creativity aims to encourage networking between stakeholders from the fashion and textile sector and promote dialogue on future solutions.
