Creative minds gather at Creative Days Vienna for two days of lectures, tours and networking to discuss the latest interplay of technology, culture and society.
The second evening of Creative Days Vienna 2025 is a cooperation with the Austrian Film Museum and explores the intersection of film, art and artificial intelligence. The program begins with a presentation from Michael Loebenstein, director of the Austrian Film Museum, followed by "Hallucinations", a live audiovisual performance by the artists Claudia Larcher and Ursula Winterauer (GISCHT). This is followed by a keynote from Eva Jäger, Arts Technologies Curator at Serpentine. The evening concludes with a panel discussion hosted by Michael Loebenstein in conversation with Claudia Larcher and Eva Jäger, examining AI’s impact on art and film. Drinks and networking will wrap up the evening.

Presentation Michael Loebenstein (Director Austria Film Museum)
The evening event will be opened with a presentation by Michael Loebenstein, the Director of the Austrian Film Museum who has worked as a curator, researcher and author in the field of film archiving, history, memory and digital culture since the late 1990s.

“Hallucinations” audiovisual performance by Claudia Larcher and Ursula Winterauer (GISCHT)
The audiovisual performance “Hallucinations” combines the experimental practices of visual artist Claudia Larcher and composer Ursula Winterauer (aka Gischt) in a 40-minute live production. They will explore the theoretical and aesthetic implications of the term ‘hallucinations’ as it is used in artificial intelligence (AI) research.

Keynote Eva Jäger (Serpentine Galleries)
Eva Jäger will deliver a keynote at Creative Days Vienna 2025, offering insights into the evolving relationship between art, technology and AI. As Arts Technologies Curator and Creative AI Lead at Serpentine, she recently curated The Call, Mat Dryhurst’s and Holly Herndon’s solo exhibition which proposes new cultural, legal, and technical rituals for art in the age of AI.
