Call: Energy Transition Innovation Dialogue 2027

The Vienna Business Agency, in collaboration with the energy suppliers Wien Energie, EVN and Energie AG Oberösterreich invites innovative companies and start-ups to take part in the ‘Energy Transition 2027’ innovation dialogue.
The focus is on innovative companies from Vienna, in particular start-ups, scale-ups and SMEs with technologically advanced solutions (TRL 7–9). Applications from organisations in Austria and neighbouring countries are also welcome.
The Innovation Dialogue brings together the energy suppliers’ current innovation needs with new approaches to solutions, laying the foundations for pilot projects, collaborations and long-term partnerships.
On 19 January 2027, selected companies will meet with the innovation managers of the participating energy suppliers at the Climate Lab Vienna. The aim is to identify new solutions to the current challenges of the energy transition and to initiate collaborations.

The call is, in principle, open to any topic. Solutions are particularly sought in the following areas:

– Digital twins
– Optimisation & automation
– Load profile and flexibility management
– Decarbonisation of commerce and industry
– Circular economy
– Resilient IT systems
– Research & development
