Business Treff: Biodiversity risks in the financial sector

The business meeting is part of Fintech Week Vienna. The panel will examine the integration of biodiversity risks in the financial sector and the impact of strict EU regulations on sustainable investments in Austria.
Moderated by Franziska Walde (founder of refinq), experts from OeKB, leading fintech companies, scientists and representatives from regulatory authorities will discuss how financial institutions and fintechs can develop innovative solutions to effectively integrate biodiversity into their business models. Furthermore, the workshop will shed light on how strict EU regulations influence global investment flows and which strategies are needed to promote sustainable financial products despite regulatory hurdles.
