Due to new dietary trends, foods from distant countries, new lifestyles, and sustainability issues (food waste, new protein sources), there is a growing trend toward foods that are new to Europe.
This interactive presentation will teach you the basics of the Novel Food Regulation and explain the approval process in more detail. The legal framework will be reinforced with several practical examples. You will then have the tools you need to independently research the novel food status of foods so that they can be marketed legally.
