AGES Academy for Sustainable Food Systems - Towards sustainable food and nutrition systems
Apply for tickets now until Novenber 24!
The European food and nutrition system is facing major challenges, such as its considerable contribution to global greenhouse gas emissions, the loss of biodiversity, the depletion and waste of resources, and undernourishment, overnutrition and malnutrition. It is necessary to take joint steps towards a sustainable food and nutrition system. In such a complex system, there are different perspectives on the various challenges and just as many approaches to solving them. Only an interdisciplinary, cross-sectoral and systemic approach can pave the way to a sustainable food system.
The Service Agency for Sustainable Food and Nutrition Systems will take a holistic view of the food system, including its governance and resilience.
