The Vienna Business Agency is dedicated to strengthening and promoting Vienna as a business location on behalf of the City of Vienna. We support ventures that advance sustainability, innovation, quality of life and diversity in Vienna.

The organisation

The Vienna Business Agency was established in Vienna in 1982 as the Vienna Economic Development Fund (Wiener Wirtschaftsförderungsfonds) by the City of Vienna, the Vienna Economic Chamber (Wiener Handelskammer at the time), UniCredit Bank Austria AG (Zentralsparkasse at the time) and Erste Bank der Österreichischen Sparkassen AG (Erste Österreichische Sparkasse at the time).
