Kapsch TrafficCom is a world-leading family-run company from Vienna dealing with “intelligent mobility solutions”. As part of the Co-Creation Lab, we are looking for partners to focus on application examples of future urban mobility, which reap the greatest benefits for the end user and regard automated vehicle fleets as an integral part of this approach.
We are looking for solution concepts in specific geographical areas in Vienna on how land utilisation can be imagined digitally, especially in streets and parking areas. As a starting point and forerunner, https://coord.co/ and particularly the Curbs API can be examined. In addition, the concepts should be able to identify the role that automated vehicle fleets could play in this context (inspiration: https://www.moia.io/de/hannover/). The concepts should provide approaches to incentive and pricing systems as well as suggestions for meaningful use.
Open exchange, cooperation, resources from internal experts (both from Vienna and the global network of the Kapsch Group), services in the fields of hardware and software development, as well as potential joint trial runs. A cash prize of max. €5,000 (incl. VAT) is available for chosen solutions.
