Starte Dein Projekt - a cooperation of IFTE, Erste Bank and Wiener Stadtschulrat

"Starte Dein Projekt" is an initiative that supports the youth in the implementation of their ideas and the development of a business model. Emerged as a cooperation between IFTE, the Vienna Board of Education, Erste Bank and Sparkasse, “Starte Dein Projekt” aims to practically encourage entrepreneurship by pupils through cooperation between schools and businesses.

Erste Bank and Sparkasse make infrastructure and useful tools available that help in creating and implementing a budget and schedule. Through the combination of technical, methodological and social skills, young people learn the importance of active communications work. For school classes, two workshops for idea generation and project management are offered by IFTE within the framework of "Starte Dein Projekt".

"Entrepreneurial Design Thinking" offers assistance in the conceptualisation of a sustainable business idea and "Project Playground" includes the planning game "Fruit salad", which paves the way for a future project.  In addition, the crowdfunding platform enables the presentation and financing of projects. Through the platform pupils learn to network and to present their ideas.
