
More space for Industry 4.0
Innovative technologies take top priority in Seestadt Aspern. The ASCR Aspern Smart City Research venture, the HOERBIGER technology group with its over 500 employees and young companies as Theobroma Systems or view point systems have each been part of one of the largest urban development areas in Europe right from the beginning.
The Atos European IT Competence Centre is expanding its competence in Seestadt, where its laboratories can be used for domestic industrial operations. Their laboratories can be used by industrial companies, both domestic and from the CEE region. The Technical University of Vienna, in addition to initiating the first pilot factory for Industry 4.0, is also researching production virtualization in the K1 centre Austrian Centre for Digital Production (CDP).
With the Technology Centre, the Urban Lakeside Aspern provides ample space for future-oriented industries that have great potential for growth in the city:
