The “Standpunkt Liesing” project will ensure the sustainability of the operating area in the 23rd District of Vienna as a location for so-called non-mixing-enabled businesses. Around 560 companies are currently represented on 240 hectares in the largest operating area in Vienna.
Free or no longer required operating areas and buildings can be optimally utilized with the help of the resident district management. It serves as a focal point for residents and site-seeking companies — whether in finding the right location or answering open questions regarding the operation area. The district management is working with companies from the “Standpunkt Liesing” to expand the locational advantages of the area. A particular focus is the promotion and advice on environmental practices and operational cooperation.
A place for businesses
The “Liesing standpoint” project was launched in 2011 from the Vienna Business Agency, Vienna Chamber of Commerce and the City of Vienna. With modern, resource-saving technologies, a traditional industrial area is becoming an innovative company location of the future. The objectives are to ensure that the Liesing standpoint remains an attractive location in the long-term, to optimally exploit commercial space, to help companies individually and to promote operational cooperation.
The area is ideal not only because of its easy accessibility, but also through the safety and quality of the location and the on-site district management Services.
