More space for technology companies in Seestadt Aspern
The expansion of the Technology Centre Seestadt is entering the next stage: With the third building section (tz3), the Technology Centre Seestadt is growing by a further 4,600 m² of production and office space. The Vienna Business Agency is thus creating additional modern infrastructure for forward-looking companies and research projects. For the tz3, the focus of the leasing will be on sustainable technology companies; the building itself is planned as a low-energy building and thus, like the first two parts of the Seestadt Technology Centre, a showcase project in terms of energy efficiency. The tz3 is a perfect extension of the Technology Centre Seestadt's industry focus on innovative technologies and is ideally suited for companies and start-ups from the areas of 3D printing, Industry 4.0 and smart production. Completion of the third building section is planned for the end of 2024, and the first tenants will move in at the beginning of 2025.

Startup Grant: The programme kickstarting new companies in Vienna
The new type of start-up scholarship offered by the Vienna Business Agency provides extensive start-up assistance even before a company is founded. And this offer is being taken up: Vienna's budding company founders are convincing with their diversity of ideas and business potential - from pallet load bikes to fake news checks to sustainable children's toys from the 3D printer.
The balance after the first 18 months is very solid: out of a total of 262 applications, 52 strongly positioned business ideas have been supported in 3 rounds of the start-up scholarship so far. A start-up scholarship lasts six months. After the business idea has been submitted and reviewed by a jury of experts, those entrepreneurs who have made it into the programme receive a grant of 1,300 euros per month.
