Vienna has a new university – lectures start on 30 September for the students of Central European University in Vienna.
As an established location for universities, companies and international organisations, the city of Vienna is delighted to welcome a new addition to the university sector. CEU with its social sciences and humanities focus will optimally complement the range of studies offered by the Viennese university landscape, while the establishment of a new university will also have a positive impact on the business location Vienna. As a multicultural and open metropolis, the city on the banks of the Danube extends a warm welcome to new students and teaching staff alike.
Under the motto “Welcome to Vienna, CEU!”, we have recorded a selection of soundbites from representatives in the areas of politics, culture and the university environment, as well as from students – we are united in wishing CEU a good and successful start in Vienna.
Students and staff will find valuable and interesting information relating to their start in Vienna on a dedicated website of Vienna Business Agency.
