Open House: Where Eye Hyper-Tracking glasses and high-precision metal items are created using 3D printing technology. Find out how it all happens on September 28, 2019 from 11am to 5pm.
How does sunlight get into a room without windows? How can a building generate more energy than it uses?
Technology Center Seestadt invites visitors to take a peek behind the scenes between 11:00 am and 5:00 pm, Saturday 28 September 2019. Eye Hyper-Tracking glasses, a world first created with Austrian technical know-how, are produced here at the Center using 3D-printing technology, as are a variety of other high-precision metal items.
The new hot-spot for technological progress in Vienna has been conceived with unique architecture, an open, spacious concept and modern office, laboratory and production areas. Guided tours behind the scenes of the building, which was designed by ATP Architekten & Ingenieure, are held every hour.
Children and young people can enjoy the six interactive stations of the Research Party on Tour, with a range of activities including tracking microplastics in everyday life, exploring the foods of the future and devising new apps.
Admission is free. No registration required. Find out more about the program [German]
