Startup City Vienna is world number one!
First place in international city rankings!
London company PeoplePerHour has selected Vienna as the best startup hub in the world in their international Startup City index.
The city on the banks of the Danube scored particularly well in the areas of quality of life and commuting, earning first place in these individual rankings. Vienna also achieved excellent results in the healthcare, office costs and talent pool categories, while the city’s internet speed numbers among the top five worldwide. Tokyo made second place in the ranking, with Madrid, Singapore and Brussels rounding out the top five.
