More money and easier access with new OPE funding: As of 1 January, up to 10,000 euros per project will be available
All OPEs (One-Person Enterprises) wishing to modify or further develop their business models will now find the task easier: As of 1 January 2022, 10,000 euros per project (instead of 7,000 euros, as previously) will be available as part of the NEW OPE funding, and the funding rate will increase from 50% to 60%. That means, if a company invests 1,000 euros, it will receive 600 euros in funding. The minimum amount has also been reduced to 1,000 euros, so even the smallest projects can now be realised. A total of 10 million euros are available for OPEs, and the funding period has been extended to the end of 2022. Get advising now – submissions open as of 1/1/2022!
There are around 65,000 OPEs in Vienna. The City of Vienna, together with the Vienna Business Agency, developed the OPE funding project specifically for these companies back in April 2021. The aim is to support the people behind this important sector of the economy so they can further develop their business models for sustainable investment their companies’ future. In addition to project investments, there is also funding for companies’ personnel costs, i.e. the OPE’s working hours.
So far, 238 projects have already received 1.36 million euros of support as part of the OPE funding programme.
