Lukoil Lubricants opens European headquarters in Vienna

As early as 2014, the company was already successfully established in Vienna. After expansion and modernization, its Vienna production site was opened.
After Lukoil Lubricants was first successfully established in Vienna in 2014, its European headquarters opened in April 2016 in the Lobau district of Vienna. Lukoil Lubricants is the international lubricants division of the largest private Russian oil company, and in 2014 took over the former OMV production facility at the Vienna oil terminal as well as its employees. Since then, Lukoil has invested in the expansion of the production facility and the technological modernization of the Vienna site.
Through the expansion, sustainable jobs were created, an ecologically and economically viable shipping route was established and the attractiveness of the Port of Vienna was increased. The Vienna office will serve Lukoil as a hub for the international activities of the Group, which, for the first time in Europe, is producing lubricants for the automotive industry.
