From 23-28.11.2020, ORF Radio Wien will present companies that deal innovatively with the topic of food. Listen in and get to know unverschwendet, blün, Wiegert, Ströck and markta.

The radio series "Enjoyment for the Future" is dedicated to the food focus 2020/2021 of the Vienna Business Agency. In the programme "Gut gelaunt in den Tag" (9.00 - 14.00 h), Radio Wien presents five companies from Vienna that implement innovative ideas in the food sector. Listen to them!

Mon, 23.11., 0.40 p.m.: The startup unverschwendet turns surplus fruit and vegetables into new food products.

Tue, 24.11., 11.15 a.m.: The urban farming startup blün shows how circular economy works: using a sustainable process, aquaponics, the rearing of fish is combined with the cultivation of aubergines, tomatoes and cucumbers.  

Wed, 25.11., 1:18 p.m.: The Wiegert production plant is improving its ready-to-cook vegetable products. 

Thu, 26.11., 11.15 a.m.: The Viennese bakery chain Ströck tries to reduce the amount of waste material and to increase the utilisation of the ovens.

Sat, 28.11., 10.40 a.m.: The digital farmers' market markta with its high-quality regional organic products is very busy even in Covid times.
