Energy-saving funding: 10 million euros for small businesses

Support for small businesses: up to €20,000 per project to boost energy efficiency.

By funding energy-saving efforts, the City of Vienna is looking to steer small businesses and local supply companies towards a sustainable, energy-efficient transformation of their business processes. The new energy-saving funding, which will be open for submissions starting February 1, 2023, aims to help small businesses and local suppliers in Vienna.

A wide range of measures are eligible for funding, from the use of energy-efficient appliances such as refrigerators and freezers to changes to heating systems, increased energy efficiency in production or logistics, and improved insulation.
Up to 20,000 euros are available per project, The funding rate is 60%. 

As of February 1, 2023, companies can submit their projects for the energy saving support program. The information and advice that companies need in order to prepare and think through their projects is available now.
