The city strengthens Vienna as a business location with a new service office for international professionals.
Together with the Vienna Business Agency and in cooperation with AMS Vienna, the City of Vienna is opening the new Business Immigration Office - a dedicated service point for international professionals, companies, organisations as well as research and educational institutions. The aim is to unite legal matters such as applications for residence permits as well as multilingual counselling regarding employment and residence law under one roof.
The Business Immigration Office at Zelinkagasse 9 in the first district will serve as the first point of contact for persons from third countries who want to pursue gainful employment in Austria. The City of Vienna's Department for Immigration and Citizenship (MA 35) has 22 employees on site to process applications for residence permits such as the Red-White-Red Card. The multilingual team of the Vienna Business Agency provides comprehensive advice on residence and employment law in Vienna just a few rooms away in the Business Immigration Center. The bundling of processes benefits not only the customers, but also Vienna as a business location.
For all other questions about starting and living in Vienna, the experts of the Vienna Business Agency are available as usual at the Expat Center. Here, the advice goes far beyond purely legal questions. The experts at the Expat Center provide permanent support to international professionals and their companions on all issues they face in Vienna at every stage of their lives - from adopting a child to changing schools to retirement.
