2023/10/05: The winners of Spotlight your Idea at Forward Festival 5./6.10.

Together with Forward Festival, the Vienna Business Agency designed the program “Spotlight your Idea!” for creatives with unique ideas focusing on culture and technology. Two selected creatives have the opportunity to be speakers on the main stage at this year’s edition of Forward Festival at Gartenbaukino on 5 and 6 October. They will present their creative ideas in front of an international community of creatives. The winners of the program are Gerald Geier and Stephanie Meisl.

Gerald Geier is a graduate of the advertising and graphics class at the university of applied arts Vienna. His short film “Remember the Future” impressed the jury with a strong message and intriguing visuals. The film portrays a climate activist in 2073 who looks back on crucial points in history and tells her story of how humanity tackled climate change.

Stephanie Meisl will present "d#avantgarde”, a collective of artists and creatives dedicated to exploring the potential of AI and new technologies to transform the creative landscape and push the boundaries of human expression. As a dynamic multidisciplinary collective of artists and creatives, d#avantgarde ventures into uncharted territory, exploring the vast realm of digital art and contemplating its essence and future possibilities. The collective sees art as an early adopter of new technology and through its unique approach, d#avantgarde aims to actively transform the world of art and creativity.
