re:pair FESTIVAL Vienna 2024
Everyone's talking about the climate - we'll repair it!
Repair is a powerful tool for tackling the climate crisis and contributing to the circular economy.
The third edition of the re:pair FESTIVAL will take place from 10 to 27 October 2024 at the MuseumsQuartier Wien. With over 120 events, the programme offers an exciting mix of practice and theory. A wide range of workshops will teach creative skills and the joy of independent repairing.
In 2024 there are two main focuses: On the one hand, FAST FASHION continues to be an important topic, as the fashion industry is responsible for higher CO2 emissions than global aviation and shipping combined. Another focus is on FAST FURNITURE. Here, furniture and its production will take centre stage, showing, for example, how the inner workings of a piece of seating furniture have changed over the last 150 years.
Two lectures will be held as part of the re:pair FESTIVAL in cooperation with the Vienna Business Agency.
