Whatchado is an online platform that supports young people in their vocational orientation. The idea came from the native Iranian Ali Mahlodji and his school friend Jubin Honarfar. The name whatchado comes from the American slang, meaning “What do you do (…for a living)?”. Working people, honestly and authentically, present their profession and career in video interviews on the platform. The career platform has existed since 2011, and now has more than 1,600 videos online — even President Heinz Fischer is there!
The Viennese start-up company is currently expanding and will take the jump this year across the border and invest in the expansion to other European countries.
In 2014, the company was able to amaze 3 business angels, including Ex-Siemens board member Brigitte Ederer.
