Thinking Songs of Things
“Thinking Songs of Things” is an exhibition in the form of a poem. It takes its inspiration from the architecture of the gallery space of Mario Mauroner Contemporary Art Vienna, comprising a ground floor and a basement. By wandering around its rooms and encountering the works of art, visitors come to embody both poetic structural elements such as “stanzas” and some of the topoi of poetry, like the descent to the underworld. This experiment in poetry aims to expand the field of discussion on image and text by including time, sound, space and movement.
