John Rajchman is a philosopher and a professor of Art-History at Columbia University. His books and writings on contemporary art and philosophy have been translated into many languages. A founding member of Semiotexte, a former editor at October, he also advised ANY, a ten year-long global architectural symposium in the 1990s. Currently he is a contributing editor at Artforum and is preparing a volume of recent writings focused primarily in China and Brazil.
