
Heike Munder
Heike Munder (*1969 in Stuttgart) lives and works in Zurich.
Since 2001, she has been Director of the Migros Museum für Gegenwartskunst in Zürich. From 1995 to 2001, she co-founded and -directed the Halle für Kunst in Lüneburg. She has curated exhibitions of Dorothy Iannone (2014), Geoffrey Farmer (2013), Ragnar Kjartansson (2012), Tatiana Trouvé (2009), Tadeusz Kantor (2008), Rachel Harrison (2007), It’s Time for Action – There’s No Option (2006), Marc Camille Chaimowicz (2006), Yoko Ono (2005), Mark Leckey (2003), amongst others. Besides her curatorial work for institutions and freelance projects, Heike Munder teaches regularly at universities such as the University of Lüneburg, Goldsmiths College in London, Jan van Eyck Academy Maastricht, University of Bern and the Zurich University of the Arts. Concurrently, she has been publishing reviews and articles in various art journals, magazines and books since 1995 and is the editor and author of numerous catalogues and text volumes. In 2012, she was a jury member of the renowned Turner Prize in London and the Skoda Awards in New Dehli.
