25 Dungeons of Hinterberg
The game project 25 Dungeons of Hinterberg convinced the jury with its graphic novel-style design, its unusual setting for video games and the professional team consisting of 3D artist Regina Reisinger and developer Philipp Seifried.
A combination of action RPG and social simulation game, it is set in an Austrian mountain village where a tourist industry has developed around 25 magical dungeons full of monsters inspired by Alpine mythology. The days in the game are spent exploring the dungeons, fighting creatures and solving puzzles, while evenings are reserved for making friends with locals and adventurers from around the world. The relationships formed have an impact on the gameplay.
In addition to the production grant of 10,000 euros, the project receives a women's bonus of 1,000 euros, as co-founder Regina Reisinger implements the project in a leading role.
