LAB: Community building 101: Building professional friendships

Gabriella Chihan-Stanley

Gabriella (Gabs) is the co-founder and Communications Manager of XR content production company vrisch, as well as the founder of XRVienna, Vienna’s first community of XR (VR/AR) professionals. She holds a master's degree in Digital Arts from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra of Barcelona and has been working as a project and communications manager in the fields of technology and advertising since 2002, adding XR to her field of work in 2013. Gabriella has been selected as one of Europe’s top 20 Women Founders of 2018 and she is also an active member of the Women in Immersive Tech (WiiT) international community. Gabs’s inspiration comes from three main sources: mystical books, archery, and obnoxiously childish jokes.
