Tina Lorenz

Tina Lorenz grew up in the Chaos Computer Club around the turn of the millennium, but then studied theatre studies and American literature in Vienna and Munich. She was a lecturer in theatre history at the Academy for Performing Arts of Bavaria, later a dramaturge at the Landestheater Oberpfalz and finally an advisor for digital communication at the Staatstheater Nürnberg. She is a founding member of the hackspaces metalab Vienna and Binary Kitchen Regensburg and sits on the fellowship jury of the Dortmund Academy for Theatre and Digitality. Since 2012, she has published and spoken on the possibilities of a digital theatre, including at re:publica Berlin, nachtkritik.de and at the Heinrich Böll Foundation. Since 2020, she has held the newly created position of Project Manager for Digital Development at the Staatstheater Augsburg.
