Gabriella Chihan Stanley
Gabriella Chihan Stanley (Gabs) is co-founder and CCO of Austrian immersive entertainment studio vrisch, founder of the XRVienna community, Austrian Ambassador of Women in Immersive Tech, board member of the Euromersive and MAIX LATAM Associations, and a South American ‘momtrepreneur.’ Her work at vrisch focuses on helping people learn, understand, and have fun through meaningful entertainment. At XRVienna, she facilitates dialog between XR creators and cross-industry professionals through an egalitarian and safe space for knowledge sharing.
Gabs has been working in technology and advertising since 2002, adding VR in 2013. Since then, she has collaborated with institutions such as UNESCO Natural Heritage “Wildnisgebiet Dürrenstein” and Caritas. Her work at vrisch has been awarded multiple times, the latest being one of the five worldwide winners of the OMOSIROI award in Japan and the Laval Virtual Award for best VR advertising campaign. In 2018, Forbes selected Gabs as one of Europe’s top 20 Women Founders.
